JAMMU, Sept 9: Senior BJP leader and former Minister, Bali Bhagat today slammed NC patron Dr Farooq Abdullah and PDP chief, Mehbooba Mufti for expressing faith in Taliban Governance in Afghanistan.
In a hard hitting statement, the former Minister said that it is strange that on one side people across the world are thinking of saving humanity from the clutches of ‘savage’ Talibans in Afghanistan and on the other both these leaders are daydreaming and expecting something like governance from the people having ideology worst than ‘stone age man’ where women are considered as ‘lifeless slaves’ and people living a normal life as ‘sinners’.
While decrying both NC and PDP leaders, Bali Bhagat said that the day dreamers of Kashmir should recall the earlier rule of these ‘barbaric’ Talibanis who had set an example which has no match in the history as far as cruelty and savagery are concerned.
Citing the choice of Taliban in nominating ministers in the war-torn Afghanistan, the senior BJP leader said that Farooq and Mehbooba can only expect good governance from the Government which has 17 top terrorists as ministers among the lot of total 50. He said that except gruesome rule and barbarism against women, children and aged, nothing else is expected from such a Government which has a track record of the highest level of atrocities on these sections of society and also against those who show even a bit of dissent.
