KISHTWAR, Sept 10: The District Development Council (DDC) chairperson, Pooja Thakur today undertook an extensive tour in various villages of block Thakraie and listened to people’s grievances.
During her day-long tour, she visited Keshwan, Anjole, Pakalan and Sarawan areas of this hilly block and held public darbars.
Accompanied by the officials of Public Health Engineering (PHE), PDD, Food Supply and Revenue, the DDC chairperson held public meetings and listened to their grievances.
During the course of the meetings, deputations from different areas interacted with Thakur and apprised her about the problems being faced by them and sought timely action.
After giving patient hearing to the public grievances, she gave on-the-spot directions to the concerned officials for the early redressal of the problems.
She assured to examine all genuine demands and appropriate disposal of the same on priority.
She was welcomed by Sarpanch Preetima Devi at Pakalan.
