JAMMU, Sept 10: Bus Stand Police arrested a thief and recovered stolen items from his possession.
As per police sources, while investigation a case registered under FIR Number 59/2021 under Sections 457 and 380 IPC, a team from Police Station Bus Stand led by SHO Inspector Deepanker Singh under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Mohita Sharma conducted series of raids and finally nabbed the thief involved in the case.
The arrested person was identified as Baljeet Singh alias Bablu, son of Dalip Singh, a resident of Old Rehari District Jammu.
On his disclosure, stolen items including 33 pieces of mobile phone covers, 1 piece sports headset, 1 piece bluetooth, 1 piece optical mouse, 1 piece Nano ear-buds and 1 piece headphone were recovered, which he had stolen from the shop Deepak Communication at Old JDA Complex Bus Stand Jammu.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain his involvement in other theft cases.
