UDHAMPUR, Sept 11: Reiterating the demand to increase assembly seats of Jammu region, former MLA, Balwant Singh Mankotia said that Delimitation Commission should increase assembly seats of Jammu division to do justice with Jammu.
He also said that assembly seats should be increased on the basis of 2021 census instead of 2011.
Addressing a gathering of workers at Udhampur, Mankotia said that he will work till his last breath for the welfare of public.
He said that problem of electricity and water is increasing day-by-day in Udhampur and its adjoining areas and the people are forced to suffer due to poor working and negligence of the concerned departments.
Mankotia recalled that during his tenure as MLA, there was never a shortage of water and electricity in Udhampur but in the last 6-7 years the situation has turned worse.
He warned the concerned officers and said that they should work for the service of people.
Many Sarpanchs, Panchs, Councillors and senior leaders were present on the occasion.
