JAMMU, Sept 12: Continuing the campaign to provide basic amenities along with better development to the people of Gandhi Nagar constituency, BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started the slab work on the new building at Government Middle School, Digiana Camp.
The village Education Committee, Digiana expressed its gratitude to Billawaria for getting this work done. Billawaria said that a new school building will soon be ready as the old one was declared unsafe. He said that Master Aslam who is now retired has contributed a lot in the construction of the school building.
He said that the Central Government is leaving no stone unturned to strengthen the infrastructure of Government schools and provide quality education. This is the reason that now there has been a huge expansion in the admission of Government schools and these schools are beating private schools. Even though there is no democratic Government in the UT at present, but in the development of Jammu city the present Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha is doing good work and solving the problems of the people, he added.
Bhupinder Singh, Varinder Pal Singh, Ramesh Gupta and school staff were present on the occasion.
