KATHUA, Sept 12: One motorcyclist died after his two wheeler slipped at Mela Morh, Hiranagar today.
The deceased has been identified as Ankush , 24, son of Jagdish Singh of Suba Hiranagar. He was shifted to GMC Jammu in a serious condition where doctors declared him as brought dead. The dead body has been kept in mortuary room of GMC Jammu for postmortem. It will be handed over to family members after autopsy tomorrow.
The Hiranagar police has taken the cognizance of the same and registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
In another accident a girl was injured after hit by a car at Panthi Samba today. She was referred to GMC Jammu for treatment. The girl has been identified as Saira Begum, 12, daughter of Taj Din of Raipur Camp Samba. Her condition is stated to be critical.
Samba police has taken the cognizance in this regard and started investigation.
