JAMMU, Sept 13: Janipur Police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest from the past several years.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Janipur led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar and SP City Mohita Sharma conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large since 2006.
The arrested absconder was identified as Joginder Singh, son of late Jeet Singh, a resident of Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 37/2006 under Sections 452 and 427 RPC with Police Station Janipur. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by the Railway Court Jammu.
Meanwhile, the similar team also arrested one more absconder identified as Rajinder Kumar, son of Rattan Lal, a resident of RS Pura District Jammu. He was evading his arrest from the past seven years.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 28/2010 under Sections 452, 342 and 323 RPC with Police Station Janipur. Arrest warrant under Sections 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by Court of City Judge Jammu.
Further investigation into the cases registered against the arrested absconders is going on.
