Two drug peddlers arrested with banned injections, heroin

JAMMU, Sept 13: Bakshi Nagar and Bagh-e-Bahu Police arrested two drug peddlers along with banned injections and heroin.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Bakshi Nagar led by SHO Inspector Ravi Kant laid a naka near Maheshpura and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 379 banned injections from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Sagar Mashi, son of Suraj Mashi, a resident of Reshamgarh District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 141/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
The arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar and SP City Mohita Sharma.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu led by PSI Suhail Ahmed under the supervision of SHO Bagh-e-Bahu Inspector Kirti Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a without registration number scooty.
During checking, police team recovered 2 grams heroin from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Ashiq Hussian, son of Abdul Hamid, a resident of Malik Market Distict Jammu.
A case FIR Number 80/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment and other persons involved in this illegal trade.
