MENDHAR Sept. 14: The police seized six cattle in Mendhar area during last night and arrested a smuggler.
Official sources said that PSI Sunil Sharma along with police party from Mendhar Police Station during Naka at village Sakhi Maidan intercepted Tata Mobile vehicle bearing Registration No JK12B-0223 loaded with six bovine animals. Vehicle Driver Mohammad Rashid son of Manzoor Hussain resident of Ari was arrested.
The police registered a case FIR No. 333/ 2021 under Section 188 IPC and 11 PC Act in this connection and started further investigation. The vehicle alongwith cattle was seized.
