BJP’s hollow slogans victimised Jammu: Manjit

JAMMU, Sept 16: Apni Party, provincial president Jammu, Manjit Singh today said that Jammu has become a victim of BJP’s politics of vote bank and false promises which were never fulfilled.
Addressing two separate joining programmes, Singh said that the dreams of development which BJP sold before August 5, 2019 are yet to be achieved.
The joining programme was organised by Neesha Bhagat, Women Wing secretary in which many people from Phallaian Mandal joined Apni Party.
“The youth were misled with a promise of employment but unemployment increased. As far as development is concerned, it is nowhere,” Manjit Singh said adding that non-performance of BJP has put people under financial distress.
“The tourism sector is in worst condition like transport, business, and industrial sector. People are losing their jobs and the Government is not holding recruitment on vacant posts,” he maintained.
He said, with every passing day, people are joining Apni Party in large numbers after leaving other political parties.
Singh also demanded that delaying elections in J&K will further add to the sufferings of people.
State SC coordinator, Bodh Raj Bhagat; State OBC coordinator, Madan Lal Chalotra; president, Apni Trade Union, Ajaz Kazmi; provincial secretary, Dr Rohit Gupta and others were also present on the occasion.
