Refer news item ‘Over 70,000 visit Purmandal, Utterbeni Shrines’ DE July 9.
Purmandal and Utterbeni are emerging as favourite pilgrimage spots among devotees as can be witnessed from the huge rush at these places. However, the two spots have not got much publicity either electronic or print. There is urged need to bring these two spots on the pilgrimage map of the country.
But on aspect of the situation is that sanitary conditions as are existing as these places are not up to standard. Many pilgrims who visit these places complain about lack of accommodation and unhygienic conditions prevailing at these places. The management is requested to address the grievances of pilgrims visiting the place.
Once all facilities are made available to the pilgrims, these places will assume same attention as does Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine or Amarnath Yatra.
