JAMMU, July 10: Narinder Singh has been elected as president while Khursheed-ul-Islam as general secretary of All J&K Mechanical Diploma Engineers Association.
In a general body meeting of the Association held here today, under the chairmanship of Abnish Sharma, a new executive body was unanimously elected. Narinder Singh was unanimously elected as new president, Kulwant Singh vice president, Khursheed as general secretary, Sagar Singh and Chander Shekhar Misri as secretary, Balwinder Singh joint secretary, Vishal Sharma publicity secretary, Ravi Kumar stage secretary, C N Koul organizing secretary, VRD Bali spokesperson and Vikas as treasurer of the Association.
An advisory board to assist the executive body was also constituted. They are – Raj Pal, Ramesh Bangotra, M L Vasan, S P Kalsi, Raj Kumar Salgotra, Ghulam Nabi, Mohd Sharief, A K Bhat, Dhiraj Khajuria, Diwakar, Girdhari Lal, Jogeshwar Gupta, Jagjeet Singh , Rajiv Sharma and Shiv Dharshan Gupta. The new body resolved to work for the welfare of the diploma engineers and project their issues.
