Convene DDB meeting: Dimple to CM

JAMMU, July 10: President, Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has urged the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to immediately convene the District Development Board (DDB) Jammu meeting, so as to redress the issues of the people vis-à-vis developmental work particularly in the West Assembly Constituency.
Dimple demanded inclusion of LPG, kerosene oil, sugar, edible oils and vegetables in the Food Security Bill, otherwise the food security bill is incomplete and will not help the people of the country. He also demanded to exempt the VAT, sale tax on the sale of the petrol, diesel, kerosene oil and LPG in the country.
JWAM president warned the State and the Central Government to provide sugar, otherwise the people will come on roads.
Dimple also expressed concern over China’s incursion in the Indian land at Leh and asked the Defence Minister AK Antony to take up the matter seriously.
