KATHUA, July 10: A youth committed suicide by hanging himself with a ceiling fan in his house at Ward No 17 Kathua this morning.
He has been identified as Kapil Dev, 28, son of Sardari Lal. According to his family members Kapil was fine last night and in the morning they found his body hanging in his room with a ceiling fan. The family informed the police which took the body in its custody and after postmortem from District Hospital Kathua it was handed over to family for last rites.
The Kathua Police has registered a case under Section 174.
