JMC Councillor starts work of laying sewerage pipes

JAMMU, Sept 23: JMC Councillor, Sham Lal Basson started work of laying sewerage pipes at main Chowk Gorkh Nagar in Ward 48.
Speaking on the occasion, Basson assured the residents of his Ward that he will work for the welfare of the people of Bahu Fort.
He said that he will take up the development works in all the localities of Ward 48.
The Councillor appealed to the people of Gorkh Nagar to cooperate executive agencies.
The contractor assured to complete the work within two months and said that lifting of debris along with repairing of lanes will be done simultaneously.
An amount of Rs. 6 crore will be spent on the project of laying sewerage pipes at Gorkh Nagar and connecting it to Bahu Lochan Chowk at Bahu Fort.
Those present on the occasion included Vaishno Kapoor, Karuna Chhetri, Om Parkash, Joginder Kumar, Kulbir Singh, Garu Ram, Munish, Sunny Sangotra, Rinku Gandotra, Chand Gupta, Suraj Gupta, Sanjay Singh, Sonu Balgotra and others.
