JAMMU, Sept 28: All J&K Panchayat Conference today appointed Dileep Kumar, BDC Chairman Miran Sahib as the general secretary of the body.
Talking to media-persons here Shafiq Mir, AJKPC chief flanked by Arun Kumar Sharma, Provincial president said that the joining of Dileep Kumar will strengthen the Panchayat Conference in the region. He also informed that the Panchayat Conference has been re-organised with the appointment of District presidents of all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
He hoped that the newly appointed general secretary will address the problems of general public at grass roots level in the area.
Dileep Kumar, thanked AJKPC leadership for entrusting him the significant responsibility and assured that he will work for further strengthening the Panchayat Conference. He asserted that he is duty bound to address the issues pertaining to Panchs and Sarpanchs. He also said that he will make all possible efforts in strengthening the Panchayati Raj Institutions in the Jammu and Kashmir.
