JMF for scrapping sharing quota of medical PG seats

JAMMU, Sept 29: Jammu Muslim Front has appealed the J&K Government to scrap sharing quota of medical PG seats.
“JMF strongly oppose the move of J&K Government which will ruin the legitimate rights of PG aspirants of the UT,” chairman of Front, Shuja Zaffar said. He said the notification issued by Medical Council of India will harm the interest of our PG, MD, MS, DNB courses candidates.
He said that such moves after abrogation of Article 370 will send a negative signal, will create wedge and medico will loose interest. “Govt should drop such order which will prove disastrous for our health care system and medicos,” Zaffar said.
Tanveer Wani (vice president JMF) and Mohd Sadiq (general secretary, JMF) appealed the UT Government to ensure stability of our medicos and watch their interest.
