JAMMU, Sept 29: A labourer died today due to electrocution in Gangyal area of city outskirts.
According to police sources, the labourer identified as Rumal Chand son of Dhani Ram, resident of Panjali (Purmandal) received severe electric shock this morning from an electric pole at Gangyal near Gurudwara and died on the spot.
The body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu and where after conducting postmortem, it was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites. Gangyal police had taken cognizance of the matter.
