Copper prices weaken on sluggish industrial demand

NEW DELHI, July 13:  Copper prices fell by Rs 2 per kg on the local non-ferrous metal market today due to reduced off take by consuming industries.
Traders said reduced industrial off take and reports of a weak global trend mainly influenced copper prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap fell further by Rs 2 to Rs 412 per kg.
The following are today’s metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 107-113, nickel plate (4×4) 1,033-1,036 gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 412, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 143, lead imported 139, aluminium ingots 140, sheet cutting 141, aluminium wire scrap 144 and aluminium utensils scrap 140. (PTI)
