JAMMU, Oct 2: Pouni Chak Police arrested two thieves along with stolen cash.
As per police sources, on 27 September this year, a written complaint was lodged by a person namely Rakesh Kumar Tulli, son of Shashi Pal Tulli of Surya Vihar Anand Nagar District Jammu with Police Post Pouni Chak regarding theft incident.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 273/2021 under Sections 457 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Post Pouni Chak led by PSI Nitish Khajuria was constituted under the supervision of SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul.
The team with the help of technical assistance and CCTV footages of the area, finally rounded up two suspects namely Tarun Kumar, son of Jatinder Kumar of Udheywala, District Jammu and Sunny Kumar alias Kaka, son of late Kashi Nath of Saraswati Bihar, Anand Nagar, District Jammu.
During sustained questioning accused confessed their involvement in the above case and on their disclosure stolen cash Rs 20,000 were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
