Councillor starts drain work

JAMMU, Oct 2: BJP leader and Councillor of Ward 69, Gurmeet Kour Randhawa started drain work at Sector G of Sainik Colony in Ward 69 with an estimated cost of Rs 2.5 lakhs, here today.
The Councillor along with residents of the Ward also paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and took a pledge for ‘Swachhta Abhiyan’. “Our prime duty is to keep our city neat and clean and don’t throw garbage in the open drains,” said Councillor.
Alkesh, Inderjeet Kour, Mohit, Mattoo, Amreak Singh, Sanjeev and Gita were present during the pledge of Swachhta Abhiyan.
