RAMBAN, Oct 7: A man was injured when the Alto car he was driving rolled down into gorge near Ladhwal area of Batote here today.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02AJ-2311 was on its way from Batote to Patnitop, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into gorge near Ladhwal area of Batote, resulting into injuries to driver.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and rescued the injured person with the help of security personnel and shifted him to CHC Batote, from where he was later referred to District Hospital Ramban.
The injured was identified as Ravinder Kishen Kichlu, son of Jeven Kishen Kichlu of Tringla Batote, District Ramban. He was working with Door Darshan.
A case under FIR Number 107/2021 under Sections 279 and 337 IPC has been registered at Police Station Batote and investigation started.
