JAMMU, Oct 7: Dogra Arts here today released a video of Dogri Song ‘Tu En Chann Pardesi’.
The video was released by Sudershan Kumar, Director Skill Development J&K, who was the chief guest on the occasion.
J.R Sagar, renowned actor and Dr Chanchal Bhasin, Dogri Writer were guests of honour.
Giving details of the song and video, Om Kataria, Producer said, the song has been shot in Reasi by Natya Roots Jammu under the direction of Akash Dogra and Sandeep Verma.
Actors who performed in the video were Mridul Raj Anand and Muskan Gupta while the Lyricist was given by Balwant Kataria, Music by Sudershan Salgotra and the Singer was Deepali Wattal.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest said: “Promotion of Dogri language is our social responsibility and sincere efforts made by creating such small videos shall go a long way in preserving regional languages.”
Dr. Chanchal Bhasin and J.R Sagar said, it is a good sign that people are paying attention towards Dogri and promoting it for its ultimate survival.
Raj Kumar Chalotra, Raman Chalotra, Vishal Krotra, Nisha Dusgotra, Master Pritam Verma, Kamal Verma, Hans Raj Chargotra, F.C Satia, Rajinder Sikka, Abdul Qader, Monu Verma, Harbans Lal, Rattan Bhardwaj, Jeet Raj, Kalu Ram Salgotra, Avtar Verma (Panjabi Poet) and others were also present on the occasion.
