JAMMU, July 14: A Junior Engineer (JE) of the Roads and Building (R&B) Department, posted in Rajouri who went missing on July 10 from his office has been traced in Jammu today.
Identified as young Sunny Dogra, son of Vijay Dogra, resident of Gandhi Nagar in Jammu, the JE could be traced on the basis of a few call details by police. After finding being chased by police he came out of his hideout. His parents and wife besides other relatives who were camping at Rajouri since July 11 also rushed here after receiving information.
SP Rajouri, Mubassar Latiffi said that a police party led by SHO Rajouri has been sent to Jammu. The JE has been placed under sustained questioning. He said that truth will come out by tomorrow. Preliminary findings have indicated some family issue behind his missing. The SP said that JE has denied any harassment at the work place. Entire district administration was worried and disturbed over the missing of JE. “We will go into the bottom through extensive investigation,” he added.
It may be recalled that on Wednesday, Sunny Dogra was said to be taken to some unknown place by some ‘persons’, apparently a few contractors. Thereafter, his whereabouts were not known. His wife Jyoti and father Vijay Dogra got worried in Jammu after Sunny’s mobile phone remained switched off and went untraced. They reached Rajouri the next day and lodged a missing report with the police. His motor-cycle was found parked in the office of Executive Engineer, Rajouri. The family members also met DC and SP Rajouri and sought their help in tracing the JE.
