SC/ST/OBC Confederation discusses social justice movement

JAMMU, Oct 10: All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations hosted a get-together to accelerate the social justice moment at Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust under the leadership of R K Kalsotra, State President, All India Confederation, J&K and Dr Sameer Choudhary, State President, National Youth and Student Front.
The occasion was graced by retired Chief Secretary and former minister B R Kundal, Retd ADGP and Patron Gujjar Desh Charitable Trust Masood Choudhary, Retd Secy GoI Ashok Angurana, Retd Judge Zubair Ahmed, Member PSC, Dr Om Sudha, National General Secretary Confederation and Vinod Kumar, National Secretary Confederation & National President SC/ST/OBC Bankers Association.
Confederation felicitated them with shawls & memento of Baba Saheb Ambedkar. A 50 thousand rupee cheque was handed over to Dr Om Sudha on behalf of the Confederation to accelerate the movement at the national level.
Dr Om Sudha, in his address highlighted the challenges towards Social Justice Movement in the contemporary India. He said that the Constitution framed by Baba Saheb is under threat & a country wide movement is currently gaining pace to challenge it.
R K Kalsotra announced that in coming months, tehsil and district level Sammelans will be held across the UT & a massive rally will be hosted in J&K wherein Dr Udit Raj, National Chairman Confederation will be invited to strengthen the Social Justice Movement in J&K & India.
In the end, Dr Sameer Choudhary extended a vote of thanks to all the participants.
