75 COVID cases in J&K, 3 in Ladakh

JAMMU/SRINAGAR/ LEH, Oct 13: Seventy five persons today tested positive for COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir and three in Ladakh.
Among 75 fresh cases, 60 were registered in Kashmir and 15 in Jammu.
Doda district recorded five new cases, Poonch four, Jammu three, Udhampur, Rajouri and Samba districts one each.
Forty four persons today recovered from the virus leaving number of active cases in the Jammu region to 218.
All three fresh COVID positive cases in Ladakh were reported from Leh district.
The UT of Ladakh now has 46 cases—43 in Leh and three in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 60 fresh positive cases.
Those who tested positive include 37 from Srinagar, 8 from Baramulla, 5 from Budgam, 4 from Pulwama, 3 from Kupwara, 2 from Anantnag and 1 from Bandipora.
The number of cases in Kashmir division has reached 206,616 including 203,636 recoveries and 2,252 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 946 including 728 from Kashmir division.
With 122 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 325,369 which is 98.37 percent of the total cases.
