JAMMU, Oct 16: Kanachack Police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor bottles.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Kanachack led by SHO Inspector Vishav Partap Singh laid a naka near Halqa Chowk and apprehended a man along with 50 bottles of illicit liquor.
The arrested person was identified as Sewa Ram, son of Masu Ram, a resident of Tehsil Marh District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 148/2021 under Section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
The overall arrests and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sunil Singh.
