JAMMU, Oct 18: A woman was killed while her husband received injuries after they were hit by a car in accident in Marh area here.
As per police sources, a car hit a couple in Marh area late last night. The couple received serious injuries and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared one of them as brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Sushma Devi, wife of Santosh Singh, a resident of Marh, while the injured was identified as her husband Santosh Singh, son of Suram Singh of Marh District Jammu.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Domana and further investigation into the case is going on.
