Setup commission of inquiry to probe killing of minorities in Valley: KPC

JAMMU, Oct 20: Kashmiri Pandit Conference ( KPC) while expressing grave concern over the constant selective killings of minorities in the Valley, for the last 32 years reiterated its demand of setting up of either a Commission of Inquiry or NIA or CBI probe at the earliest in all such acts. Such dastardly acts through proxy way of hit and run strategy by terrorists and other gun yielded youths is highly painful and intolerable.
Kundan Kashmiri, president KPC stated that this utter criminal and inhuman behaviour of the terrorists on the dictates of their masters across the border cannot be tolerated any more by the nation of one hundred thirty crore people.
He demanded an effective proactive policy be adopted to deal with the menace of terrorism by UT and Central Government.
He said that it has also become incumbent upon the Government to have this menace of terror wiped out from the U T, once for all and any type of stumbling blocks should be dealt strongly and the destructive and anti–national forces in the Valley be crushed to create an environment of peace for all section of society.
KPC president further stated that security forces need to be more alert and vigilant to eliminate the terrorists before their strike and local underground and over ground workers are required to be identified, nailed and severely punished to contain any further recurrence as without their support neither the survival of terrorists nor their attacks on innocents are possible. The Government should not wait more before it is too late.
KPC also demanded that Pakistan be declared a terrorist country and Bangladesh leadership be asked to provide full security to Hindus and their religious places.
He also demanded the PM package employees posted in the Valley should not be forced to return to the Valley for joining their duties till the situation improves and the whole community is shifted to one place a separate Kashyap Bhoomi so that they are not harassed on one pretext or another. Besides, KPs still residing in Valley be properly protected.
