Issue stern warning to Bangladesh: Shiv Sena to PM

JAMMU, Oct 20: Shiv Sena J&K unit here today staged a protest demonstration against atrocities and murderous assaults on Hindus in Bangladesh.
Led by Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni the protesters torched the effigy of Bangladesh Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina along with the flag of Bangladesh.
They urged the PM Modi to issue a stern warning to Bangladesh in this regard.
Addressing protesters, Sahni demanded that safety and security of Hindus and protection of their religious freedom should be ensured in all the Muslim countries across the globe including Bangladesh.
He called it irony that atrocities and killings of Hindus continue unabated in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh and have started gaining momentum presently.
The Shiv Sena leader quoted data to say that in last 10 years, there have been incidents of vandalism and arson damaging more than 3700 houses, temples besides killings and injures to Hindus in Bangladesh.
He flayed the custodians of Hindutva for remaining mute spectators to such gory incidents and questioned Citizenship Amendment Act, saying that it was brought only to garner Hindu votes and now it has been put in the cold box.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; secretary Praveen Gupta; youth leader, Rajesh Handa; president Reasi, Bhuri Singh; president Kamgar, Raj Singh; Kashmir working president, Ghulam Rasool Lone; Sumit Abrol and many others were also present in the protest.
