JAMMU, Oct 21: Kahna Chak Police arrested five gamblers along with Rs 39,800 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Kahna Chak headed by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh and assisted by PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal arrested five gamblers along with Rs 39,800 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons were identified as Raghu Chib, son of Parshotam Singh of Chak Tehsil Marh,
Pankaj Gupta, son of Sat Pal Gupta of Rehari, District Jammu, Arun, son of Dev Raj of Halqa Tehsil Marh, Sunil Singh Salaria, son of Raghuvir Singh of Halqa Tehsil Marh and Shashi Paul, son of Sardari Lal of Chatha Tehsil Marh.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Police Station Kahna Chak and investigation started.
