Anti India slogans raised in Samba, case registered

SAMBA, Oct 25: After yesterday’s India -Pakistan cricket match, slogans of Pakistan Zindabad were raised by some local youths in Chak Manga, Gujran of Samba and a video made by them has become viral on social media.
After the incident police have detained six people one after the other. A case has been registered against them under sections 224, 295-A, 153-A, 124, 53-A, 505 and 109 and the search is on for the rest. The arrested youths have been identified as Khatam Hussain, Muskin, Sher Vani, Shabru, Tariq, Younis. Some of them have been taken into custody while the search for others is still on.
This happened for the first time in the history of Samba that someone has raised slogans in favor of Pakistan. After this incident, there was a lot of anger among the local youth. Local youth Rajan Kumar, Manav Singh, Kunwar Singh and others said that Samba is the land of heroes and nationalist people who laid down their lives for unity and integrity of their motherland.
No one has dared to raise pro Pak slogans in the district so far. They urged the police and administration that strictest action be taken against such anti national people so that they don’t dare to do the same in future.
SSP Samba, Rajesh Sharma said that this incident happened after the match was over last night, the police will take action, “We have caught some people for the support, many people have been identified, the police has registered a case and they will be dealt under the law of the land”.
