RAJOURI, Oct 26: The security agencies searching for two missing persons from Budhal area in snow clad Pir Panjal have high hopes of their alive.
Official sources said that J&K Police, CRPF and Army teams have been searching for the missing persons Javed Shah and Khadam Shah, residents of Targain in Budhal, who went missing during heavy snowfall on October 22-23. They were going to Shopian along with some sheep and goats on foot to sell in the market in Kashmir.
SHO Budhal, Insp Mutaj Ahmed said that two joint teams have launched massive search operation for the missing Targain villagers since Monday. Today, a close relative of Khadam Shah at Chassana, received broken mobile phone call… ‘Hello, hello’ from Khadam, but later he could not be contacted. “It is hoped that by tomorrow, contact could be established with them and there are good chances that both of them are alive,” the SHO said.
