Interaction course on ‘Terrorism and Counter Insurgency’ concludes

UDHAMPUR, Oct 29: Three days vertical interaction course on “Terrorism and Counter Insurgency” concluded at Police Academy here today.
MK Sinha, ADGP Headquarters PHQ J&K delivered lecture on the topic “Internal security, threats and management” to the participants of course in which 14 officers from various units of J&K Police participated. 30 Probationer DySPs also attended the session.
Sinha laid emphasis on ethical governance, methods to deal with ethical dilemas and to understand reality of others. He added that fight against terrorism is a long drawn battle, therefore it is imperative to avoid shortcuts and arriving at just conclusion is the responsibility of Police. Moreover every police personnel has to inculcate and imbibe feelings of integrity, devotion & upholding of constitution. He also shared massive dimensions of Vyapam case which he successfully investigated only because shortcuts were avoided.
He cautioned the audience not to resort to unethical means. Doing justice to Career is equally important. Moreover developing professional acumen will bring you pride. It was knowledgeable deliberation.
At the end of the course, Sinha shared his valuable experience and wished a bright and successful career to the young officers.
