POONCH, Oct 29: One person was killed in a road accident in Mendhar area of district Poonch today.
Official sources said that 45-year old Shah Rome, son of Muneer Hussain, resident of Kallar Morha in Mendhar Sub Division was injured when he met with an accident near Govt High School, Keri Galuta today. The injured was immediately shifted to Government Sub District Hospital, Mendhar. He sustained multiple fractures and head injuries.
Dr Parvez Ahmed Khan, BMO, Mendhar said that Shah had sustained critical injuries and after provided preliminary treatment at SDH Mendhar, he was referred to GMC Hospital, Rajouri in 108 Ambulance. In view of his deteriorating condition, he succumbed to injuries in Rajouri hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
