130 sacks of polythene bags recovered

SAMBA, Oct 30: Police recovered 130 sacks of polythene bags from a canter.
As per official spokesman, a team from Police Station Samba during checking intercepted a truck bearing registration number RJ02GA-7259 driven by Sukhwinder Singh, son of Nand Lal of Punjab which was on way from Gujarat to Srinagar.
During checking, 130 sacks of polythene bags each weighing about 20 to 25 kilograms were found laden inside the vehicle without any permission and were concealed tactfully beneath sacks of other goods.
The matter was handed over to District Pollution Control Board Samba for further action at their end.
