SALEM, June 4: A 70-year-old man was killed after being struck by lightning at Omalur in the district, police said.
Nallagounder was taking bath near a tree yesterday when the incident occurred, police said today.
Four others were admitted to hospital with minor injuries.
Salem and Omalur experienced heavy rains with lightning and thunder yesterday. (PTI)
