JAMMU, Nov 2: The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir today delegated his financial powers to accord administrative approval for works to officers of Rural Development Department (RDD).
According to the order, Additional District Development Commissioner can now accord administrative approval for the works upto Rs 15 lakh, Assistant Commissioner Development upto Rs 10 lakh while District Panchayat Officer and Block Development Officer can now grant approval for the works to the tune of Rs 5 lakh and Rs 2 lakh, respectively.
The officers can accord administrative approval for a work subject to the condition that the same has been approved in Capex/Revenue component of Budget and funds are available, the order stated.
