Hyundai launches motor mechanic course

KANCHEEPURAM, TN, July 20:  Hyundai Motor India Foundation, a division of Korean auto major Hyundai, has launched a Motor Mechanic Vehicle Trade Course in the ITI at Ulundurpet near Cuddalore.
“A state-of-the-art syllabus” and learning material in Motor Mechanic Vehicles Trade developed by the HMIL forms part of the curriculum, Senior Vice president of the company for Corporate and Finance, R Sethuraman, told reporters here yesterday.
The agenda is closing “the Learning Gap occurring between school and employability in rural areas.”
He claimed that Hyundai has raced to the first slot in sales figures during the past month and that the company puts its faith in the ‘Brand Essence’.
The Santro, the company’s decade old compact model, then touted as “affordable” luxury, still sells at four to five thousand a month, he said. (PTI)
