Kishmish rises on fall in supply

NEW DELHI, July 20:  Kishmish prices rose by Rs 100 per 40 kg in the national capital today largely on the back of fall in supplies from producing belts amid fresh buying by retailers and stockists.
Kishmish Indian green and yellow prices rose by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 4,000-4,700 and Rs 4,900-7,500 per 40 kg bag, respectively.
Market analysts said increased demand from retailers and stockists amid restricted arrivals from producing belts, mainly pushed up kishmish prices at the dry fruit market here.
