JAMMU, Nov 3: J&K State Pensioners and Senior Citizens Welfare Society held a meeting in virtual mood under the chairmanship of Mir Ghulam Rasool Botvani and other members also participated in it.
The meeting made an appeal to LG Manoj Sinha to release the three percent DA installment in favour of UT Government employees and pensioners which the Central Government has already announced for its employees and pensioners.
The meeting was attended by State secretary of the Society, D N Sadhu.
The meeting also demanded enhancement of Medical Allowance of Rs, 1000/- per month in favour of UT Government employees and pensioners.
It demanded that the Central Government employees retired from January 2020 to June 2021have been given benefit of revised DA on gratuity and on cash payment in lieu of leave salary for the said period the same be granted to UT Government pensioners who have been deprived of the said benefits.
