POONCH, Nov 3: Two persons were injured when they were hit by a motorcycle at Surankote in district Poonch this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place at around 3 pm on Wednesday when bike-rider Mohd Abbas (16), son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Surankote was on way to his home from Potha side. His bike hit two persons who were moving along the road and caused them serious injuries.
The victims were identified as Faizan Ahmed (14), son of Mohd Ayoub and Sarfraz Ahmed (45), son of Mohd Latief, both residents of Potha village in Surankote. The accident victims were rushed to Sub District Hospital, Surankote where Medical staff provided them preliminary treatment and then referred to Govt Medical College Hospital, Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
