RAJOURI, Nov 3: An elderly villager died after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence in Chingus area of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that 62-year-old, Sukhdev Singh, son of Tara Chand, resident of Androlla, under Chingus block, became serious after he consumed some poisonous stuff at his home this afternoon. He was rushed to GMC Hospital, Rajouri where he died during treatment. His body was shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for postmortem. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
