Declare more Tourist Villages in Ramnagar: Pathania

RAMNAGAR, Nov 5: Spokesperson J&K BJP, Ranbir Singh Pathania has demanded more villages of Ramnagar to be declared as ‘Tourist Villages’.
Addressing a meeting at Ramnagar he said, the LG-led dispensation has declared villages Panchound (I & II), Basantgarh, Incha and Lehar of Ramnagar as tourist villages.
“Now new infrastructure and facilities will be created in these villages and financial assistance in the form of soft loans shall be given to the unemployed people for entrepreneurial setups and tourist-related amenities in these villages,” he maintained.
The BJP leader demanded declaring villages Rang, Satyalta, Marta, Sattian, Jansal, Siyamehri, Khoon and Mottu as tourist villages.
He said that popular shrines of Pingla Mata, Sri Chountra Mata, Sri Marada Mata, Sukrala Mata, Balasundri Mata, Sri Narsingh Ji temples at Ramnagar, Majalta, Aapshambhu temples of Dalsar and Khoon, Vasuki Naag temples at Dudu Basantgarh and Kote and popular Sudh Mahadev temple, temples of Krimchi, Bavour & Sankari deserve to be brought on tourist map.
“Tourist traffic needs to be routed to Ramnagar Fort as well as Sheesh Mahal of Ramnagar,” he said adding that picturesque spots of R.C Peak, Parli Dhar, Dudu Basantgarh and Pancheri should be developed.
