JAMMU, Nov 5: Satwari Police booked a notorious criminal under Public Safety Act (PSA) and shifted to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal.
As per police sources, a notorious criminal identified as Nazakat Ali Khatana, son of Mohammad Sharief of Doda Basti Belicharana District Jammu was booked under Public Safety Act and has been kept under detention in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal.
It is pertinent to mention that accused is a notorious criminal and a desperate character. He was involved in cases registered at Police Stations Satwari, Gandhi Nagar, Hiranagar, Chanderkote and Ramban.
The detention warrant was issued by DM Jammu under section 8(1)(a) JK Public Safety Act, 1978.
Finally detention warrant got executed today and accused has been shifted to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
The detention warrant was executed by SHO Police Station Satwari Inspector Deepak Jasrotia.
