SAMBA, July 20: A Lok Adalat was held under the chairmanship of Inder Singh, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Principal, District and Sessions Judge.
During the Lok Adalat, a bench was constituted, which was headed by Inder Singh, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority and was assisted by SS Bali, Chairman, Tehsil Legal Services Committee and SK Khanmotra, Advocate to deal with the MACT cases.
A total of three cases were taken up and out of which 1 case was decided on spot and an amount of Rs 70,000 was awarded as compensation in favour of the claimants.
