JAMMU, July 20: Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu, Puneet Gupta today directed Crime Branch for further investigation in the much publicized multi-crore scam of New Jammu Township Project at Sidhra within three months.
When the case came up for arguments on charge/discharge, Special Judge Anticorruption, after hearing both the sides, directed Crime Branch in the open court for further investigation of the case.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Crime Branch presented challan in scam after about 13 years long investigation against Jayant Bhuta, Madan Lal Kalra and Moulvi Iftikar Hussain Ansari, the then Minister for Housing & Urban Development and presently PDP MLA, Dr Amjad Abas Ansari and D Murlidar.
