RAMBAN, Nov 6: Banihal Police arrested a drug peddler along with 7 kilograms of poppy straw.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Banihal led by SHO Inspector Nayeem Mattoo apprehended a drug peddler along with 7 kilograms of poppy straw.
The arrested person was identified as Abdul Waheed Wani, son of Mohammad Afzal Wani, a resident of Doligam Tehsil Banihal District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 198/2021 under Section 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Banihal and investigation started.
