Lecturers’ Forum for expediting regularization of I/c lecturers

JAMMU, Nov 7: All J&K Plus Two Lecturers’ Forum has demanded charge allowance and expediting the process of regularization of all Incharge (I/c) lecturers.
The demands were raised during monthly meeting of the Forum held today through mode under the chairmanship of its president Deepak Sharma. Addressing the meeting, Deepak Sharma said that many issues of Plus Two Cadre have been resolved one by one by the Government but a large number of Incharge lecturers are still awaiting their regularization since 2013 and only six subjects lecturers, that too partially, have been regularized. He said adding salt to their injury, many are being made to work in Incharge capacity without charge allowance.
Sharma demanded expediting of regularization of all Incharge incumbent/retiree lecturers including left out lecturers and other officers including Principals and higher officers pending for want of various reasons and provision of charge allowance at all levels including Incharge lecturers.
The Forum further demanded that adequate staff must be provided in schools at all levels before any decision is taken on reopening of schools as hundreds of Higher Secondary schools are lying headless and a large number of posts of subject lecturers are vacant. He also demanded release of promotion list of Principals at the earliest.
It was also demanded that all lecturers and Principals who have completed tenure of more than one year in Hard areas (Zone -3) including Ladakh be repatriated to their home localities.
