JTC, SKF dharna enters 401 day

JAMMU, Nov 7: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) have been protesting for 401 days at Jagti.
Today a protest sit -in was held by JTC and SKF activists under the chairmanship of its president Shadi Lal Pandita .The members said that they were protesting for 400 days and are demanding increase in the monthly cash relief of relief holders from Rs13,000 to Rs 25,000 per family per month.
Besides, they demand 20,000 jobs be given and one job should be given to those families who have no serving Government employee with construction of three satellite townships in Kashmir near Baramulla, Srinagar and Anantnag for return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits.
Moreover 32 years property loss and balanced ex-gratia of gutted houses and damaged properties be given to each and every affected family. Compensation for over aged youths and illegal occupation of land, properties and religious places should be removed immediately. Political and minority status be given to Kashmiri Pandits.
